In light of the incredibly sad passing of Her Majesty The Queen, the difficult decision was made to cancel Malton Open Day.

We are delighted to be part of the Malton Open Day this year and will be opening our doors onΒ Sunday, September 11th, 2022 from 8.45am until 12.00pm.

The yard is barely recognizable since Brian purchased it 22 years ago with additional stables, American barns, open-air stables, Kraft water walker, hot water showers and Salt Therapy Room to name just a few of the extensive facilities available to our equine residents.

Brian has had many highlights during his career, winning Listed, Group and Graded races, with horses such as Top Notch Tonto, Balty Boys, Marsh Warbler, Batswing, Forest Bihan, Nietzsche and Definitly Red, and big handicaps, including the Ebor at York with Moyenne Corniche and The Vertem Eider at Newcastle with Sam’s Adventure.

Next month, Onesmoothoperator, Chillhi and Tashkhan could head to Longchamp with Chillhi also in the Royal Lodge at Newmarket (Sept 24), Tashkhan has an entry in the Qipco British Champions Long Distance Cup at Ascot (Oct 15) and Cormier has an entry at Leopardstown (Sept 10). It is exciting times for the yard.

Definitly Red has done magnificently since retiring from racing and has exceled in his new career, competing in ROR classes with Andy (Robertson). He will be taking part in both of the ROR classes on Highfield gallops, with other ex-racehorses, providing the perfect opportunity for fans to see him in action, once again.

On arrival at our yard, our friendly staff will greet you and we appreciate your co-operation whilst your hands are sanitised. This is not only to help protect against the spread of Covid, but also to help prevent cross contamination of any viruses to the horses.

We hope everyone has a thoroughly enjoyable visit. At the same time the health and safety of our horses, team and guests is paramount therefore we ask if everyone would please observe and follow all the safety signs. All horses may bite or kick so please use caution.

We are a strictly NO SMOKING yard and ask for all dogs to be kept on leads.

We would like to welcome all new and returning visitors and thank you in advance for everyone’s co-operation. Our team will be happy to answer any questions. Wishing everyone a safe and fun day.
