VICTORIANO was given a good ride by Ben (Robinson) to win the 2m½f Handicap at Newcastle on Saturday (July 29th, 2023). The seven-year-old was notching up his second win of the season and that was his third success over course and distance.
Despite being slowly away, he was soon travelling sweetly in second before tracking across to the stand side rail three from home to take the lead. He kept on well, holding on by a neck from Steel Helmet.
