New Year’s Day winner with BACKBYJET

BACKBYJET got us off to the best possible start in 2024 with a game performance on his hurdling debut at Catterick.

Partnered by Stephen Mulqueen in the 2m3½f Happy New Year Novices’ Hurdle he led for much of the race before being headed going into the second last. Battling gamely, he stayed on well to get his head back in front close home.
