MOLTOIRΒ stayed on well to take division one of the 3yo, 7Β½fΒ Handicap in the hands of Ben Robinson at Beverley yesterday.
Pushed a long out of the gate to get a good early position, he travelled well in behind the leader before switching off the rail and coming with a run inside the two-furlong marker. He stayed on strongly inside the final furlong going away to score by a length-and-a-half.
Fitted with a visor for the first time he was following up a decent fourth at Kempton last time.
Owned in partnership by Dan Gilbert, Mark Lawrence and Andrew Bruce, the son of Vocalised was purchased out of the Goffs Horses in Training sale last October. He was gelded soon after and given a break and he did well over the winter.
We were delighted to see him in the winnerβs enclosure on what was only his fourth outing for us.
