TODAY'S NEWS

Friday 13th June

After a very quiet week, we are set for a busy weekend.

Today, we are at Chester, with two year old's, Imso Friendly and Sunniva competing in the 'White Oak UK Business Finance Selling Stakes' at 2.50.

We also have two runners at York. Tolstoy, is in the first race on the card, the 'Andy Thornton Hospitality Furniture 50th Anniversay Apprentice Handicap', where he and his jockey Shay Farmer are aiming for back to back success, having won this race last year. Bestfootleads, is another of our two year olds and makes his debut under Connor Beasley at 2.25.

Tomorrow, we have jump action at Hexham, where You Did makes his debut for the yard at 5.58 in the novice hurdle, and Dinons, who runs in the handicap hurdle at 6.28. Both will be ridden by Craig Nichol.

We also return to York, where Tolstoy will make a quick reappearance, as he did when winning the corresponding race last year, with Ben Robinson on board once again. Ben also takes the ride on Northern Spirit for us in the last race at 5.20.

Kanishka is hoping to get his first win on the board. He is at Leicester in the 'British EBF Restricted Maiden Stakes' at 6.20, and will be ridden by Darragh Keenan.

Action continues into Sunday, with Homestrait and Solar Biricz at Doncaster and Terrorise at Hamilton.

Picture right Tolstoy.
