Fasthope, who ran well on his debut at Pontefract, proved his liking for the track, getting up on the line to win under a well timed, last to first ride by Cam Hardie last week for owner Keith Brown.

Two days later, Homestrait notched up her third career win with a narrow margin victory at Carlisle, again ridden by Cam Hardie who was deputising  for stable jockey, Ben Robinson, who was out injured.
