It has been a fantastic couple of days for the team, and owner Mr P Boyle (Boyle Bloodstock).
Following her win at the Plate meeting at Newcastle last month, Callianassa did the honours at the track again yesterday, when winning the prestigious ‘Best Experience At Seat Unique Beeswing Handicap‘ under a fantastic strong ride by Ben Robinson. Having been prominent, they went second over 2f out, ridden and led 1f out and fought it out with the eventual runner up, to win by a short head.
After this great success by Callianassa, Brian and Mr Boyle then jumped on a plane to France, to watch Wor Faayth, who made the very long journey earlier this week to the La Teste De Buch racecourse. The result was well worth the trip, when Wor Faayth, under Christophe Soumillion gained herself Black Type, when winning the Listed, Criterium du Bequet, with a very impressive victory.
