VICTORIANO was given a good ride by Ben (Robinson) to win the 2m½f Handicap at Wolverhampton yesterday.
Pushed a long out of the stalls, he was soon racing up with the pace on the wide outside before securing a good position one off the rail. Travelling nicely in second, he took the lead over two furlongs from home and stayed on well to score by half a length.
Having missed all of 2022 through injury, the seven-year-old son of Teofilo has bounced back well, landing his third win of the season here and has picked up prize money in six of his eight starts this year.
