Bulldog Spirit made a winning debut for the team at Southwell, giving us a long overdue winner, after a quiet start to the year. From midfield, he made headway from over 2f out to take the lead in the final furlong, keeping on well to win by 1 3/4 lengths. He was ridden by Ben Robinson, for owner Joseph Bell.
