CAPTAIN POTTER (purple hat) took full advantage of a mistake at the last by the evens favourite (pictured/blue) to win the 2m4f Maiden hurdle at Sedgefield yesterday. Sean Quinlan partnered Mr Cotterill’s four-year-old who was having his second outing for us and second career start over hurdles. He appreciated the step up in trip from the last day and battled gamely up the run in to win by half a length.
A cracking start to January with Captain Potter winner number six. Let’s hope we can keep it up!
