Northern Spirit wins at Beverleys opening meeting.

Given an excellent ride by Ben Robinson, Northern Spirit opened his seasonal account with a win at Beverley yesterday, over 5f. He was held up over the first couple of furlongs, pushed along and ridden over 1f out, switched right and ran on well inside final furlong, led towards finish and won going away. This was his 6th career win, with the others all being over 6f.
