It was a fantastic day with Perfect Part taking the ‘Hilary Needler Trophy EBF Fillies Conditions Stakes’ at Beverley last Saturday, at the odds of 125/1.
She was purchased from the Breeze Up Sales last month, for £10,000 for owner Keith Brown, and although she is not the biggest, she beat some expensive rivals to win in very convincing style, under Cam Hardie. They always travelled nicely, and when the gap came, Cam gave her a shake of the reins, and off she went. It was a very impressive performance.
She has come out of the race really well, but after talks with Keith, and his wife Joan, it has been decided to bypass Royal Ascot and target her elsewhere.
