After a 36hr flight, Onesmoothoperator arrived in Australia yesterday, ahead of his 2024 Melbourne Cup Campaign. His groom Matt Brown, was reunited with him at the Werribee quarantine facilitiles in Melbourne, where Smoothie will remain for the rest of his time Down Under! Despite the long journey, Smoothie looked very bright and happy, and even managed a buck and a kick for the photographers who were watching. His target is the Melbourne Cup, however he is still a way down the order of entries, so we may need to run him in the Geelong Cup on 23rd October, where a win would help his chances.
