This is our first sesason training for owners, ‘Nick Bradley 17 And Partner’, and we were delighted to our first winner for them at Doncaster on Saturday. Having finishing second in her first four starts, Homestrait jumped well from the stalls, and found herself in front. Despite wandering around inside the final furlong, she made all, under Ben Robinson to win by a length.
It didn’t take long for the owners to get back in the winners enclosure, when another of their two year olds, again ridden by Ben, obliged last night. Temple of Athena, made an impressive racecourse debut in the ‘Racing TV EBF Restricted Maiden Stakes’at Beverley, over the 5f trip. Having being in touch with the leaders, she made headway and led 2f out. She was ridden, and soon went clear to win comfortably, beating the short priced favourite by two and a half lengths.
