16 Yearlings, 25 entered in HiT Sales, N/H horses flying

Some of our owners have been quite active at the Yearling Sales this year and in addition to several Brian has purchased, and including home-breds, we currently have 16 yearlings in the yard or away being broken.

In with the new and out with the old as the saying goes and that’s exactly what we’re doing. Definitly Red is on target to make his intended seasonal reappearance in the Charlie Hall Chase at Wetherby on Saturday, November 4th, 2017. Update on Forest

Forest Bihan, winner of the feature 2m1f Handicap Chase at Kelso on Sunday has come out of his race well, he’s eaten up and remains in good order as discussions continue as to where he will go next.

Brian is currently considering one of two possible options, the Grade 2 Haldon Gold Cup at Exeter, over 2m1f, on November 7th or the Grade 2 Shloer Chase over two miles at Cheltenham on November 19th...

POINT THE WAY put in a game performance on his chasing debut to recover after a blunder at the last to take the 2m7½f Novices' Chase quite impressively in the end...

BARRYS JACK makes winning chasing debut

BARRYS JACK won the two-mile Novices' Handicap Chase at Perth in good style under Danny Cook on what was his first start over fences for us. Fresh and well following a break, he jumped and travelled enthusiastically for much of the race, getting a lead for the first three fences before taking up the running on landing over the fourth. In a little close at the fourth last, and not great at the third last, he jumped the remaining two okay and kept on well to score by three lengths...

FROZON wins at Wolverhampton

FROZON got up in the final stride to win the 1m4f Handicap at Wolverhampton last night under a good ride by Ben Robinson.

Positioned one off the rail, just in behind the leaders, Andy Barnes Kheleyf gelding travelled well throughout and settled much better today despite the pace not a strong one. As they turned for home they quickened and Frozon kept on well to get his head in front on the line...

FROZON was Brian's 1100th career winner!
